This bow surpasses expectations. Like another reviewer said it is a little tedious to put together, flipper is cheap, and the limbs could use some finishing on the sides but the performance is shocking. It's got speed, great draw, and very accurate. I'm a Martin fan and I love this bow.

I just received this bow so maybe my opinion changes as time goes, but as it stands after having shot about 70 arrows with it I'd say that this is a pretty impressive bow. I got the #55 and it sends the arrows with about the same speed as my #60 Samick TD. I became very accurate with it once i became used to shooting this as it is cut way past center and is like a compound in that respect. However once i got used to that i shot in the Bull in a 5 inch grouping at 50+ feet. A downside however is as the one previous reviewer noted. This is not a convenient TD to disassemble and reassemble. It was a decent pain to put together so i would not go through the trouble of taking it down only to have to put it together again. By comparison my Samick TD takes all of 2 mins--maybe--to put together and string where as this had me feeling like i was assembling a bike for my kid on Christmas Eve.--Ok that may be an exaggeration, but you get the point. I wasn't too impressed with its low vibration claims when i first shot it but after I put on some silencers on the string it was very very quiet, and I didn't feel any noticeable vibration. Overall this is a pretty good bow. Who knows after more shooting and getting used to it I may consider it a great bow. So as of now because there is nothing that I am disappointed about and because it helps me be so accurate I give it 5 stars.

I bought this bow to be a back packing hiking and camping take down bow thinking it would be a mediocre performer but back packable....what I got was a very high performing, wicked fast, quality recurve that I wouldn't take down once set up. It is more tedious to put together than I would like for a takedown, but it is one heaven of a bow. I got a couple of Bear Minutemen Takedowns for back packing instead and use the Martin Diablo as my main recurve. You get way more value for this bow than the cost. Yes as one reviewer mentioned the edges of the limbs could be finished better, but the overall performance of the bow is aces and well over shadows that oversight.

i got this bow before it hit the market. i have a friend thats in the market. the price is the same. if you shoot 40 get 45 if 50 get 55 this is by far the smoothist recurve bow i have ever shoot. give this bow a year and it will take over the market. get it now before its twice as much.

I've only been shooting this bow for 2 days (+-300 shots) but I'm really impressed with it. Great bang for the buck. Mine is a 40lb and its faster shooting than any 50lb I've ever shot. I have found anything negative yet.

It was supposed to be delivered in 10-14 days and arrived in 5 days. 3 rivers also had the best price.

This was my first takedown recurve that I have purchaced. The bow is faster than any of my recurves. I have many bear recurves of various years and models. The limbs where my only concern. They dont appear to be sealed on the sides. I took a clear poly pen for touch ups and put it on the sides to seal it. The limbs where the only thing that I could find wrong with it and that was a very minimal problem. I have had it for three weeks and love it. The bow looks and feels awesome. It became my favorite shooter.
