      I started bow hunting ten years ago. I switched to shooting recurves two years ago and have not looked back. I just started shooting this bow and will never look for another brand or model. I have the Rio Bravo 58" 55# bow. I draw 26 1/4 inches on it (about 52#) and with a 495 grain arrow it was shooting 177-180 fps at the local archery shop. I am so impressed with the quality of the finish, the smooth draw, and the power it creates. Out to 40 yards it really THUMPS the target and takes very little time to get there.

      This thing has great design and emanates quality. BEAUTIFUL limbs and riser. Rest assured that when you go to a local shoot or archery shop, it will turn heads. Absolutely Beautiful bow.

        The SR Swift- Rio Bravo Take-Down Recurve Bow is hands down the best bow that I have ever owned. The craftsmanship of this bow is unbelievable. You will not find a better finish on the market. The short riser makes an excellent hunting bow given the reduce size of the riser. Initially, I was concerned that the bow may stack up on me given the length of my draw.That was not any issue - The draw is as smooth as butter. My hope would be that anyone who reads this article give great plains a shot and picks of one of these pieces of art. I am quite certain that whomever buys this bow will not be let down by the superb quality of this bow.

        Since receiving the SR swift, I have only had the opportunity to use it for 3-D shooting. The first day I started shooting the bow I started having to repair or replace arrows, the accuracy is unbelievable. Also the only rest I use is a leather traditional plate. Best Bow I have ever had in my hands. Balance is perfect. Can't wait to hunt with it!! Craftsmanship is beyond my expectations. Thank you Great Plains and 3Rivers Archery for the great service and advice. My SR Swift arrived in perfect condition. If I could only have one bow the SR Swift would be it!
