        Great buy and will recommend it to any serious traditional archer. I have 2 other longbows and 1 recurve and the Tomahawk is by far the best I have shot in the 7 years that I am involved with the sport. The preset knocking point is spot on and there is no hand shock at all. If I can add any negative comment, I have to say that I am not overly impressed with the string. After 150 shots it looks like my recurve string that has been true to me for 5years and thousands of arrows.

        Great service like always. I was warned that it was going to be a 12-14week wait. It was worth the wait. Thanks for great service again.

          I went to Three Rivers on a Saturday to try three different longbows. The yougman assisting me was very good and helped me to setup and try the bows. After asking if I was open to a suggestion he strung up a Tomahawk for me. I was very impressed and after a few shots walked out with the bow. I have now shot it for about four weeks and it the best bow I have ever owned in 35 years of shooting longbows and recurves. A great product.

            I already own TBow TD 62" SS in 55lbs. Wanted smaller lighter bow also. The Woodland pattern is a "work of art" as I saw described on web forum. Initial take down fit is quite tight, but loosens nicely after a few uses. The hybrid design is quiet and the bow very smooth. Make sure both pieces completely aligned when reassembling or you will pinch roll up sleeve and put hole in it. TD model needs grip cover of some kind, I did not like the feel shooting it bare. I like take down assembly on these bows, absolutely rock solid. Great performing bow and looks great too.

              First the Woodland Hunter is beautiful. Easy TD system to pull together. On the range, stability, power and easiness are the most proeminent qualities. Shooting mates at the club were all curious and impressed about this Tomahawk. I am looking forward to many years of bow shooting and hunting.

                  Excellent bow, very similar in characteristics to my longtime favorite longbow (from another top of the line manufacturer). This is a noble weapon with unsurpassed characteristics. You know you are dealing with a piece of art. Shoots sweet and accurate, with no wobble, and the craftsmanship is excellent. Could not be more content !

                  Service and delivery comments:

                  I was very dismayed to learn that 3Rivers charges "additional shipping" because the item is "over-sized". It is a take down that arrives in the identical box as my dozen arrows, that I order from time to time. That has yet to be considered over-sized. To extract an extra [...$] or so in shipping charges for a bow that cost almost [...$] was not something I would have expected from 3Rivers! I would have given it 5 stars without this irritation. I have been very happy in the past I must add.
