    Exceptionally Accurate Smooth Shooting

        I have had this bow for five years. I love this bow. The people at Three Rivers are the best. With carbon arrows this bow would shoot through targets that would stop aluminum arrows out of my older compound.

              I fire with one lengthen(stretch out) 28.5" of the fleche on 2216 of a length of 29.5" and 624 grams weighty for a power of 55 * and I obtain very good one taken(brought) out of fleche and a speed of fleche of 172 FPS I am very satisfied with it it is a very good bow(arc) of hunting

                I was looking for a modern longbow to compliment my Hoyt Buffalo recurve #45. I was drawn to the reflex deflex design and wanted a custom in-stock bow. I didn't want to wait the 14-33 weeks for a custom bowyer to fabricate one. Aftering discussing the different Tomahawk models with the 3River's staff (nice folks BTW), I ordered a 62" Diamond SS in #50.

                I pleased with the craftmanship upon arrival. The nock point and brace height were pre-set by the 3 River's staff, a nice touch. So I strung it and off to the target I went to tune.

                I shoot 3 under and the 1/2" nock point was creating a little arrow slap on the shelf resulting in a high nock with a bare shaft. After a quick call to 3Rivers, I moved it to 5/8". Viola! Now to find the correct arrow spine.

                My draw is right at 28" and my bow was a #52. I started with a 500 FMJ at full length with a 100gr point. A weak spine was indicated with the bare shaft. I trimmed the arrow to 29.5"...still a weak shaft. So I tried a 400 shaft at full length...closer. Trimmed it to 29.5mm, added a 125 gr tip...WHAM! It didn't even need the fletching at that point.

                It's a good bow. Get one. You won't be disappointed.

                BTW, I have a Hoyt Buffalo for sale.

                  Very great bow easy and nice to see and handle.
                  Very accurate (amazing for me)
                  The speed was controled at 185feet/sec while shooting at 2 meters.
                  I had to use a 50# because of my rigth shoulder that can no more handle the 65# compound I have.
                  I found a real pleasure to shoot again with this bow.

                    this is my first longbow. Have been shooting a #50 58" recurve for several years. I was worried about how well I would adapt to moving up to a #60 62" longbow but am completely comfortable with my Tomahawk SS diamond series longbow after only a couple hundred arrows. It is a joy to shoot. Accurate, comfortable, powerful and quiet. I can't wait for hunting season!

                      I just recently purchased a Tomahawk Diamond Series SS and I feel that I have reached Nirvana!
                      Beautifully designed, a true peice of art, so nice in fact I almost dont want to shoot it, but I did and let me tell you that after not shooting a bow in 20+ years, it was well worth the wait. The last times I shot it was with a compound and Im pretty sure I will NOT go back to one ever.
                      Took me about 3 target sessions before the instinctive side began to make its presence and now Im hooked! I honestly had no idea how well it shoots, feels and looks. Everything from the packaging, the bow sock the string andbow stringer were awesome. You cant beat this! All I know right now is that I canot wait to own one of each of these fine peices of Art. If you are thinking about buying one or on the fence, well get off the fence and stop thinking and get one because I can tell you it has changed the way I think and feel about Archery.
                      Thank you Tomahawk Bows you have made me a beliver and a LIFE long patron!

                        I just received my bow today. This is the 3rd time in my life that I have wept for joy (the other two were when my kids were born)!!! In all seriousness, the bow is everything I hoped it would be. Quiet, powerful, accurate and beautiful! I have recently joined my local traditional archery league, and I was surprised to find that nobody had a tomahawk bow. I would imagine that will change very soon! Other guys have custom bows from all over, and those are beautiful, but I don't think they can stand up next to my Tomahawk! Anyway, enough writing reviews, I have to get back outside to shoot this bow some more :-).

                          This bow is outstanding, the speed and punch that the bow delivers is amazing. I purchased the 64" 60# ss. I delivered an old aluminum arrow with a 44 mag casing as a blunt and it went straight through my 3d deer. The one issue which does not take any stars away is the calf hide on my riser came off after about 50 arrows other than that it's amazing. So far about 300 shots through her.
