      No matter how much $$$$ you spend on a bow, this T-Hawk SS is as good quality shooter as any. My 45# SS with 1916 Easton or 500 carbons is very competitive at 3-D. I don't miss because of the equipment, so I must blame it on technique. It's good to have a bow you like and trust. The draw is smooth and it shoots fast and flat. I like the wood in the riser of the original SS better than the carbon models.

        The bow was shipped to my home in less than a week and I was Very impressed with the craftsmanship and beauty of the wood. The bow is extremely smooth to shoot and very fast and stable. The pictures really do not hold a candle to the bows actual looks and finish and ANYONE would be pleased to own a Tomahawk SS Longbow.

              This is a very smooth and very sweet longbow. I switched from a recurve to this 55# longbow. It is smoother and faster than the 65# recurve that I WAS shooting.

              It has absolutely no stacking to my 29" draw length. I use the Traditional Only 400 series carbon arrows with 145 grain field points and it shoots perfectly. I had Shawn install the musk ox string silencers, and it is one of the quietest bows that I have shot. I was back in the bull within minutes of taking it out the first time.

              I'll be using the Tomahawk SS on Elk this fall. It's hard to believe how smooth this bow is. No noticeable vibration or hand shock at all. The first 10 to 12 wooden arrows I shot had some wobble, but after I worked the stretch out of the string and reset the brace height to about 7-1/2 inches, they were flying true.

              With the hand/wrist position being different than that on my recurve, I expected there would be a fair amount of "relearning" to do. However, I was surprised at the tight groupings I was getting in the first hour. The arrow penetration is comparable to that from my recurve which is 10# heavier. I can't think of any reason to go back to the recurve.

              For wooden arrows, I would highly recommend the double serving string. When wooden arrows are nocked beneath the nock point, they tend to slide down away from the nock point on a standard serving string.

              Service and delivery comments:

              Fantastic service. The bow arrived within three days using regular shipping. I even made a mistake entering the expiration date on my credit card when I placed the order online. Customer service called me, we straightened it out, and I still received it sooner than expected.

                I purchased this bow for hunting purposes.This bow is smooth to draw.....no stacking, light weight with very little handshock! The Tomahawk SS is faster than my vintage Red Wing Hunter at the same draw weight of 58lbs. I shoot a MFX (400) shaft cut to 30". The total arrow weight is 600gr. They fly like darts! Need to get accustomed to the additional bow length (62") as most of the recurves I shoot are in the 56"-58" range.

                  Target practice is a ball, I can realy feel when my form is good or bad with it. Stump shoting is a blast and with season in it has all ready taken 3 little critters. Haven't deer hunted with it yet but with 600g arrows i feel sure it will get the job done nicely.

                    Recently upgraded from a Sequoia to a Tomahawk SS and the difference is remarkable ! I hit bullseye with two of my first 3 arrows at 25yds ! The craftsmanship and esthetics on this Bow are outstanding and, it lives up to it's name in being, fast, sweet and very smooth to draw! I love my Tomahawk SS !
