                  An aluminum bow square is one of the few items I recommend as essential for any archer's tool kit. Its dual use for setting nocks and checking brace height could be done by other means but at such a low cost this is worth the investment. This particular version is also low tech, extremely durable, and universal for all bows. For those that have difficulty reading the numbers and tick marks, a simple solution is to coat them with a little acrylic white model paint and then immediately wipe off. The white will stay in the grooves enough to make them stand out. This tool definitely works like a "T" in my book!!

                    Works just fine. Basic and simple, just the way I like it. Numbers were kind of hard to see on the color I got(green), but a little bit of black industrial sharpie marker with an extra fine tip fixed that. Works great, easy to use.

                      Excellent tool for checking brace height and installing string nocks. If you're shooting without string nocks and you have a problem with consistency or accuracy, this simple tool is the answer. It's very quick and easy to check your brace height and string nock position before target practice with this square. Mine came in black, not the blue color that is shown, so the numbers are a little harder to see, but it's not that big of a problem.

                        I don't know why I didn't knock my strings earlier. This is an inexpensive way to add consistency to your shooting. I suggest watching the video on how to set up your bow.
