Originally produce to be watched at the Fred Bear Museum.
This is a documented tribute to the old time Bowyers from the American Past. Glenn St. Charles covers practically every bit of information needed to get one started in making your own traditional yew wood bow. though you can use other bow woods in the same manner.
The book by the same title is a good extra to have as well.
The problem with this Video (VCR) is that the audio goes loud then quiet... But doesn't detract from the information... so have that Remote handy.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      great video ,good info , but you will need a good band saw to make cuts and square billet on all sides , my copy had poor audio ,which was the only thing negative, takes the mystery out of making bows with billets

      This a great production on how to make a wood longbow. It's a shame the dvd copy of the video was a little poor but still worth the time and money to have in a do-it-yourself library. I highly recommend it!
