    Most of my reviews are short and lighthearted. This deserves a bit more. I returned to archery after a twenty year hiatus. Nowhere near as strong, and certainly with less confidence, I came to this video with hopes of learning something and improving my game. Thank you G.Fred. Though I'm sure you're not for everybody, your vid has helped me seriously improve my shooting and enjoyment of archery. If it's a no BS instinctive shooting style that appeals to you, this is it.

    Thorough lesson in the basics of traditional archery. Important stuff for the beginner to konw. I'm not a pro, and definately benefitted form the reinforcement of basic form, but felt like i could have learnt more - nothing here that i didn't know already. in hindsight i should have ordered Instinctive shooting 2, 3 or 4.... i think i'm past this stage, but will recommend it to shooters who are starting out.

    It was pretty short, was just getting into it and it was over.

    Doesn't hurt to learn the basics again though, just wanted a bit more.

      I watched the DVD about four times the day I received it. It is very interesting and very helpful in learning how to shoot instinctively. It also helped me to just plain shoot better. I would recomend this DVD to any one wanting to learn how to shoot better. I have been shooting archery for about fifty years now, off and on. I have shot rabbits, birds,and whitetail deer. This DVD still helped me be more accurate!

          This video does a good job breaking it down for someone to understand who's never done or experienced instinctive shooting before. I wouldn't say it's THE 100% most complete resource but definately worth watching a couple times if you're new to instinctive shooting. Does a good job keeping it informative, entertaining, while also staying organized and on subject.

              THIS MOVIE IS A OLDER ATTEMPT AT SHOWING INSTINCTIVE SHOOTING.THERE ARE VALID POINTS.HOW EVER NOT ONCE DO THEY STRESS BACK TENSION.THAT IS LOCKING IN THE MUSCLE OVER YOUR SCAPULA.IT IS SINGULARILY THE ROCK UPON WHICH ALL ELSE DEPENDS.
              YOU CAN STANCE,GRIP,FACE ANCHOR,TILT,BEND YOUR KNEE AND AIM OR WHAT EVER AND YOU STILL WILL NOT BE CONSISTENT UNTIL YOU LEARN BACK ANCHOR.AFTER THAT IF YOU WORK ON THE OTHER PARTS ONE AT A TIME YOU'LL GET IT.

                I REALLY enjoyed the information provided in this DVD. My shooting has had a marked improvement, both in accuracy and consistency. The ONLY draw back I personally had with it, was it has a feel that is slightly reminiscent of educational films that we were subjected to in early school. As long as you keep that in mind, I would TOTALLY recommend to a friend!!!

                I watched the video,and was so excited about the informative information. I went directly to my practice range, and was so amazed at how my form, ability to relax as I shot, and the improvement in my ability to hit the spot on the target. Best vedio ever.

                THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO. IT RELAYS ALL THE BASIC FUNDAMENTALS OF INSTICTIVE SHOOTING. IT IS A TAD OUTDATED, LIKE THE CLICHE' VIDEOS YOU WOULD SEE AT TRAFFIC SCHOOL, BUT GETS THE POINT ACROSS NEVER THE LESS. I DO WISH THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE ACTUAL SHOOTING IN THE VIDEO, ESPECIALLY BY FRED HIMSELF. I RECOMEND TO BEGGINERS, BUT NOT TO AVID TRADITIONAL ARCHERS.
