            I've been still hunting for years and learned a lot from this book. Plenty of tips and tricks that I've never heard of, and a good review of things I was familiar with. Easy to read, good to take along for camp reading.

              I'm a thirty-something who has grown up in the southeast during the "treestand era" where stalking and still-hunting are virtually unknown. The few times I've heard people talking about stalking or still hunting (S&SH) it has always been in reference to hunting out west. Needless to say, my knowledge of this kind of hunting is definitely limited. For that reason, this book was very helpful in laying out some basics about S&SH. I'm not sure if this book would be as helpful to some experienced in S&SH, but for a nebwie like me it was good stuff. He even includes very practical advice on clothing and footwear. I look forward to giving some of the things I learned a try this coming hunting season. If you enjoy Mr. Asbell's other books, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one too.

                  This is the first book on ground hunting that I have read. I feel it had some great tips from how to walk like a deer, to thermals, and on to blind setup, etc. It had informative pictures throughout the book and was easy to read. If you want to be a better ground hunter I would recommend this book!
