        I'll never buy another target , this ball is perfect! I'm a traditionalist stick and string, and this is the best buy in the last 3 years! I shoot an arrow, throw the ball to the other distance and so on! Absolutely satisfied and recommend!

            Comments about Rinehart Field Target 9" Ball:

            This is another very well-made product from Rinehart. However as I see it, there's a crucial problem which doesn't pertain to Rinehart's exacting manufacturing standards.

            In my opinion, this target is far too light. I shoot a 52-pound recurve bow and aluminum arrows. Upon impact of an arrow, the target will roll very slightly and settle in a different position. My very first experience with this design flaw meant 3 toasted arrows in five minutes!

            When the ball rolls, the arrow that caused the ball to move will now be at an angle to you, rather than pointing straight back at you as it would in a conventional target. Get it? It's likely that your next arrow could strike the last one on the interior of the target, creating damage.

            Sound far-fetched? It isn't! Trust me! I finally had to hang it up in the shed and forget about it after wasting so many good arrows.

            I think I'll try a Rinehart 18-1 next. It's much heavier and possesses those lovely flat areas. Seems right to me. The price is a bit prohibitive, but hopefully it'll be worth it!
