      If I had been given a simple "How To" instruction sheet I would not have cut all of the test arrows to my draw length right off the bat prior to even shooting my first arrow. Doing so was a waste of the $ spent on the test kit I found out. Lesson learned. Food for thought....

        Nice to have around. This kit combined with a point test kit will get you a long way down the road to bow tuning and arrow shaft and point weight selection . If you get a different bow, go to a higher poundage limb, or change to a different string (Dacron to fast flight) you can experiment with other shaft spine and tip weight combos to get what your looking for.

          i bought this carbon express heritage test kit along with the steel screw-field point test kit in order to see what shaft/weight combination worked best out of my fifty-five pound samick sage recurve that i got from three rivers archery. these shafts worked great and i was easily able to see what combination got me excellent arrow flight. i really like the fact that they come with out fletching. without fletching i can easily bare-tune my shafts with out having to cut the feathers off. i was able to determine that i needed the 350 size with 100 grain field points. i then ordered the pre-fletched shafts from three rivers.

            I find most carbon arrows to be just a shade too stiff on my Hill and Mahaska Longbow regardless what I do. The CX 90s always have the right spine and consistency. All I use in carbons. Excellent product.

              These shafts are phenomenal and 3Rivers is even phenomenal-er (?) for putting together this kit!

              The Heritage is truly the ideal arrow for the traditional archer looking for accuracy, consistency and durability. It's so easy to figure out the ideal shaft for your draw weight/length once you get your hands on this reasonably priced kit!
