    IMO this is a waste of your money.
    You truly could do better with a .25cent emery board, by just counting your number of file strokes.

          use this to lever the nocks open rather than scrape the groove larger. it has plastic string imitators to test how tight your nocks are so you don't have to put them on your string to test. once i figured out how to use this, i loved it.

                While the concept is a good idea, the abrasive coating on this tool is too fine and takes forever to remove nock material. I tried it on one arrow and gave up.

                    I use to use a small file and fine sandpaper. I would over do it many times and my nock wouldn't hold on to the string. Not much of a problem with cheap nocks. Just get another nock and start over, but really hurts the pocket book when you do it on a lighted nock.
