      I have need of both straight and right helical fletching so I got the necessary clamps and indexers for my jig. They work exactly as they should. Bitzenburger makes a quality product. As others have said, you need to be VERY careful when switching out the indexers - there are tiny bearings and springs that will fall out easily! Make the change in a controlled environment (over a table/sheet of paper, etc).

      Besides that little tip, the pieces fit together easily and well and with the jig instructions, should be easy for anyone to find the correct setting for the number and degree separation of fletches that you prefer.

        This product works great. If you are changing the clamp to LW, RW or Straight you have to have the matching indexer. Be careful when changing the indexer since there are tiny little springs and ball bearings that can go everywhere and are hard to find if you drop them. Take it apart in a box or at least on a large piece of paper.

                I orginally purchased the Left Wing Indexer with my Bitzenburger fletcher but found that the only feathers I had on hand were RW so I orded a RW indexer from 3Rivers and when it came I proceeded to fletch the shafts that I had also purchased from 3R.
                Not only was it fun but I like the way my arrows fly!

                          You do need the Left Nock Reciever if you are using a Left Wing Clamp and wood arrows. Be careful when you change recievers. Hold the jig in a box to catch bearings and or springs when you remove the other reciever.
