    I had never used a fletching tool before I bought this. It was easy to use after practicing a couple
    of times. I used the fletching tape with it for
    trueflight 5 1/2" feathers and some flu flu feathers. Both worked fine in this this jig.
    And I'll tell you that the fletching tape has held up well throughout practicing and hunting.
    I had no problems.

    The instructions that come with the jig give no information on how to use. I had to search the internet to figure out how to set it up and make it work. The magnet also came off even before I used it and I had to expoxy it back on to replace the double sided tape. Not a bad jig once you figure it out.

        Bought this fletching jig about 2 years ago. Finally got around to using it, I am not impressed at all.Metal contacts that stick to magnet do not stay attached,and instructions are not very informative.I think this jig was a waste of money.

            This is a great, simple jig. Very easy to use, and easily adjustable. I'd suggest bolting to a base of some sort, since it's pretty lightweight. But other than that, I don't see much of a reason to spend more, unless you're really doing high volume fletching.

                      I used this jig with the Bohning fletching glue/tape. It is a snap to fletch arrows with this combination. It might take you 2 or three arrows to really get the feel of it, but after that it is easy as pie. For the average person, this is probably all you need to do your own basic three feather fletching. There is not much to go wrong. Only if you want to get into more technical work would you need the more complicated, adjustable and expensive jigs.
