      I ordered a longer 9/64" drill bit so I could use 2.5" common nail as footing. Main objective was to keep the arrow from breaking off behind the field point. I reduced the weight of my point to compensate for the nail weight. Wood arrows with 230 grain up front. Surprised how well the internal footing strengthened the tip of the arrow.

        THIS PRODUCT IS SIMPLE TO USE AND DURABLE, DOESN'T NEED SPECIAL TOOLS OR EXPERIENCE, WILL LAST A LIFE TIME. I HAVE BEEN USING WELDING ROD STUBS PICKED UP FROM THE SHOP FLOOR AND THEY WORK PERFECT.

                I'm not overly handy but I can use this thing easily. I added hidden weight, my arrows fly great and hit hard. Lots of fun to tinker with different combination's and it should be a bonus for hunting this year. I don't see how you could ever wear it out. Adding the weight did affect my spine if I used a lot, but I expected that.
