    You would think that 6 broadheads for [$] with a lifetime guarantee would be a good deal but it's not. I shot one of these broadheads 5 times into my target at 25 yards...Read complete review

    You would think that 6 broadheads for [$] with a lifetime guarantee would be a good deal but it's not. I shot one of these broadheads 5 times into my target at 25 yards with a 50# recurve and it was all bent up. The stem and 2 blades were badly bent. I've been shooting the same Muzzy and Montec broadheads for years without having any problems like this. The fact that they don't even come sharpened hits to how cheap these broadheads are manufactured. At best these broadheads are one time use if you don't plan on practicing with them before hand and you like having to completely sharpen brand new broadheads. The Magnus lifetime guarantee does you no good if you have to send back a pack of these once a week. I was looking forward to trying the Snuffer SS but now I have no faith in the Magnus brand.

        These are great broadheads they fly very good penetration is excellent . this fall I killed an 8 point buck ,2 turkeys , and a doe all with one head just resharpened and put it on an arrow . The list only stopped there when I shot the doe and the arrow penetrated completely and stuck so far into a tree that I had to use pliers to remove it breaking the head in the process .

          the snuffer broadhead is still one of he greatest broadhead ever made. magnus has a lifetime replacement guarantee. you cant beat that!!!!

              As a traditional archer I have yet to find a broadhead I like better for the money. I love the fist size holes they cut in game! The farthest I have had to track an animal with one of these is 80 yards (black bear) and get complete pass throughs at 25 yards with a #45 1953 Bear Kodiac Hunter! Good hunting to all and remember to give thanks for your harvest!

              Just returned from a maine bear hunt shot a bear first night on stand double lunged he only went thirty yards snuffer cut a huge hole in him and stuck in the ground. 54# longbow.

                I have the glue-on style, with a screw-on adapter, total 145 gr. I have not shot an animal with one yet. I have two roving arrows with snuffers I use for shooting grounded pine cones and rotten stumps. Most shots end up stuck in the dirt. I have not had a snuffer brake or curl after hundreds of Rocky Mountain gravle-dirt hits. I shoot two long bows at 51-53#. I sharpen my hunting Snuffers using a modified 3Rivers Woodsman broadhead video method. 1st the file, 2nd hone it on a DMT medium 6" diamond stone. A few minutes and I can shave my thumb nail. I have been bow hunting 50+ yrs, I still walk good enough to get too far from camp to shoot, and pack out (not that far now). So I do more watching then shooting. With my long bow in hand I can wander and watch all day. Best time to bag an animal (for me) is the morning of the last day. I guess I could wander about without my bow, no it's not the same. My last Deer was 3 yrs ago.

                  Bought a pack from 3Rivers. One broadhead accidentally hit a chain link fence. The arrow broke, but only one blade of the broadhead dulled. I used the snuffer tamer tru angle file and got a razor sharp edge back on. Tough broadhead! It also flies true with both 1 degree straight offset and helical. I'm gonna hunt with this one!

                    I shot a 276 lb. boar from thirty yrds.. The arrow went through the shield and came out the other side. The boar started trying to bite the arrow and made three spins before callapsing straight down.--AWESOME BROADHEAD!!!!

                    Just took back up recurve hunting what a wonderful experience such a better feeling taking an animal with a traditional bow I will never go back to compound but the doe I took the other night when I hit her what a bloodtrail to a 30 yd recovery.
