I've ordered these twice, twice sad.

I've bought the screw in points twice. First time, they had a bevel that made the diameter that would fit flush against the insert NOT fit flush against the insert. I asked 3 rivers about this, and they said that they get what they get, and sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Second time, 3 of the dozen didn't fit inside the insert. It cost me more to ship them back than the field points were worth, and while I'm waiting for a replacement, I don't have any. I'm going to stick with the Saunders type from now on.

      Worked great to find a good foc and correct my spine. Not impressed with carbon arrows out of my black widow PLX. Back to PO Cedar... better arrow flight.

        I bought these to use on Easton Axis shafts which are a tad smaller than the 9/32 points, but these are the smallest diameter points I could find. The difference isn't huge, but enough that I was afraid the back edge of the point would catch on the target when I tried to pull the arrow. I ground down the rear shoulder of the point to, hopefully, reduce that issue. Not the best solution, but the best I could come up with.

                      I purchased the steel field tips based upon a recommendation from 3Rivers Archery staff. I can attest that they are well constructed since, being a novince, many have missed their mark and sunk deep into the hardwood of my garage. I have not noticed any dulling of the tip or wear from use. I had previously purchased some hard plastic field tips from another retailer and they would bend, and had little if any penetration. I will certainly buy the steel field tips in the future, and appreciate the sound guidance of the 3Rivers staff.
