Head broke off on impact

I shot a buck with this head tonight at 20 yards. The head broke off at the threads. Got no penetration at all after hitting the leg bone. The whole design of these heads is supposed to improve the ability to break bone and get penetration. Very dissapoointed. Has anyone else had this happen?

great size next to standard model, was sharp out of box but after stone was shaving hair off my forearm

I think these broadheads fly awesome, I Use them everyday and even practice with them, they have went through my target and been stuck in the ground numerous times and are still very sharp.

Comments about Fred Eichler Phantom 4-Blade Screw-In Broadheads:

The heads looked good and seemed to be well constructed. However, when I checked the main blades for sharpness only one side of one head was reasonably sharp. All other blades wouldn't cut paper cleanly. While I am not adverse to sharpening heads, when I pay over $[$] per broadhead and they are advertised as "razor sharp", that is what I expect to get. I like the new design but the quality control is lacking.
