The factory grind is very consistent with each head. I have bought other broadheads made by others that did not have a consistent factory grind making sharpening them a little harder but not the case with these. I like the way they are grinding the tips on these to make them a little more durable against curling after hard hits with bone or rocks. Will buy these again.

Used this broadhead on a Douglas Fir arrow with my Wapiti Spike Longbow. Shot a deer with it and got a complete pass through. The best part is the arrow and broadhead were able to be used again. All I had to do was resharpen the head.

Used this head on an elk hunt this september. Had a quartering away shot on a large cow but hit her a little too far back, in the left hind quarter. After recovering the elk, found that the arrow had pentrated all the up to the lungs anyway, even after traveling through a lot of meat. Bottom line is there is not a better two blade broadhead on the market and they are super easy to sharpen-this head was ready to go again without a touch-up.

I've used these for years. Switched to them because I wasn't happy with the durability of the heads I was using and they didn't disappoint! These are the toughest heads I've ever used by far. I've bounced them off rocks, skipped them down gravel roads, hit rebar in targets, stuck them in trees and bone and have never done more than dulled them. It takes a little to sharpen them the first time but they keep their edge well and are easily resharpened. They also penetrate very well, but like all 2 blade heads I've always been disappointed with the bloodtrails. Best thing about this head is the toughness!

The broadheads are relatively inexpensive, durable and have proven effective on turkey and whitetail deer. They are also silent in flight as opposed to three-blade, perforated snuffers, woodsman, etc.

I switched to Magnus while still shooting a compound. I wanted to get away from dropping razors and mechanical contraptions. What I got was a broadhead with field point flight and deadly killing power. I have recovered within 60 to 80 yrds every deer I have shot with my Magnus heads. I have blood trails equal to if not better than complicated heads. Real arrow heads and feathered fletch can never be replaced.10 yrs a satisfied user.
