    Ace 2-Blade

    Excellent penetration. Two complete pass thru's with the recurve. I hunt in a very rocky area and these are tough blades. Easy to sharpen.

    The cost for the points is awsome. The only problem I had with these points was having to touch up the edge before use they came out of the bag with a very rough edge, but after touching up found them to be consistent and reliable

      I have been using aluminum bodied broadheads for 30 years . Always disappointed with the need to buy replacable blades or most often just trash the heads after one shot . I am guilty of buying from the local sporting goods store instead of seeking a better source with better options .
      Having decided to put together a dozen new arrows I searched the internet for a good broadhead at a reasonable price . The Ace Standard really appealed to me , not just in price but in its long history and the great reviews .
      The new broadheads came with a jagged ground edge but filed easily . Finished the edge with a diamond tool and then stropped . Scary sharp !
      The Ace tuned easily on the steel adapters and 2216 Legacy shafts . Arrow flight could not get any better than what I have seen with these heads being shot from the 45# , 64" Super Kodiak.
      I have literally ruined a foam broadhead target with my one practice Ace . After more than 300 shots the head is still sharp enough to cut rope.
      3 Rivers is top of the line in products and service . Ordered here twice this year with several items in each order and everything was perfectly correct .

        I bought this broadhead because I thought it was an old reliable broadhead. I was right, it came not too sharp but was easy to put an edge on. I like to hand sharpen with a stone and it responded very well. It will take hair off your arm and thats good enough. I killed a large doe with it this year and got a pass through. I will keep using them. They look cool too.

          I shoot a 70lb Howard Hill longbow plus my own. I have constantly over 40 years tried many broad-heads.
          There's a old saying if it works, don't mess with it.
          The ace broadhead is a very fine, well developed point, for those who seek the best there is. It has that 3 to 1 ratio that Howard Hill spoke about. Not exactly but it's close.

            First glue on broad head i've ever used and it's a champ. Since than i've also gotten some Eskimo tips and they preform the same in my book. Though the Ace didn't come sharp, but a quick filing job fixed that.

              I found these heads built very well for the price. They mounted up easy and were easy to make spin true. They do not have a steep bevel so sharpin is a very quick job. The steel is ah little soft which helps with sharpin but plenty tough enough for deer.

                        I am very happy with these broadheads. I use the 125gr with a 75gr screw-in adapter attached with hot glue and had never had one come off the adapter. I cannot believe the penetration I've been getting with my 50lbs recurve, lots of pass-thrus and broken bones. They sharpen easily and seem unbreakable, never bent a tip. They only need replaced when lost or sharpened to a nub.
