    Love the idea that i can change points on a wood arrow but .... have lost a number of these adaptors when pulling arrows from targets. Glue alone does not hold them to shaft. Have come up with the idea that i will have to 'pin' them by drilling a small hole through ferrule end where adaptor glues to the shaft and drive a 1/2 X 19 brad through then file brad smooth at furrule.

          These are very well made and fit perfectly on my arrows. I will say that some instructions with some install tips might have helped. I failed to instal a field point before I glued them on and ,glue got in the threads . Easy to fix but some simple instructions with the product could have saved me some time.

          11/32 Point Adapters

            I hot glue these on wood shafts, as opposed to the glue on field points, and this way I can adapt the point to the target or hunting situation I happen to be involved in.

            I carry tapered and fletched shafts (and hot melt) with me in case I break a shaft. The added weight of each adapter is also a plus.

            It's easier with the silence of archery to leave prepared to hunt whatever is available and, of course in season, by changing points, as an opportunity presents itself.

            The two that I could not get straight and true were tried on several arrows and using my bearing setup to test for true could not get them straight. I double checked my arrows with field points and glue on zwickey broad heads and the same arrows tested true. I opted not to hunt with them and put them In the drawer. I think other buyers have had luck but when I hunt I want the most consistent and tested gear I can buy. I had a successful elk hunt here in CO this season with most of my bow equipment purchased here. Thanks for the great customer service.

                Spin grinding the arrow ends allows the adapter to be flush with the outside diameter of the Ted Barta cedar arrows. A little epoxy and you are shooting. Flight characteristics are excellent. I would definitely recommend this product, and can't wait to put one through a whitetail.

                  I have bought this item from 3Rivers before. It helps with the tuning of wood shafts as there is no need to remove and re-glue different weight points. The one thing that you must do though is to grind off the front 1/4" of your shaft after you have tapered it so that these adapters will fit properly. Great item, and great service from 3Rivers.

                      I bought both the 5/16" and 11/32" products. They were well made and easy to install, especially the 5/16", as it basically twisted right on and trued-up perfectly while gluing them on. The 11/32" were a different story. They only would fit properly after you shortened the point taper, on the shaft, about 1/4". Other wise, if you didn't do the shortening, they could never be centered-up. I think they are great, and they have made my arrow tuning much easier on my problem arrows (archers paradox) Thank you 3 Rivers for a great product.
