    I purchased these brass inserts because I wanted to increase the weight of my arrows. For me, I found that the 100 grain inserts added a little more weight than I really wanted. I wish the brass inserts were 50 grains instead of 100 grains. I'm use to a little lighter arrow weight, somewhere around 480 - 490 grains of arrow weight.

    Nice tuning, but a problem.

    I bought these to give some "punch" to a set of arrows I bought. I bought six arrows and three have failed. Two in a bag target.

    Let me say that 3Rivers built my arrows from top to bottom. I will not send them back because they are the best flying arrows I've had and don't want to be without them.

    I'll repair as needed.

    I'm not sure if it's the weight of the insert or not. They are coming loose. Two inside of bag targets. I had a third loosen tonight. I don't know if they are using the same epoxy for heavy inserts or not. I'm sure they will correct this. This is what they do and why they ask us to speak up.

    They are a great tool. I just recommend you install them with a trusted adhesive that doesn't give in a bag.

            Needed more weight then the 50-75gr inserts that come with my axis traditional arrows. These 100gr inserts were the perfect thing. Now with the 250gr tips and 100gr inserts my raw shafts and my fletched shafts all group together nice and tight. Thanks 3 rivers for having what I need every time.

                  I used these on some Aluminum 30" 2219 arrows to increase (FOC) weight. These 100gr inserts plus 115gr broad heads made my have groups tighter only after a few rounds of shooting.

                    After reading many of Dr Ashby's studies on terminal arrow performance and looking at his photos of destroyed aluminum inserts and aluminum BH adaptors I am trying to convert to all brass and steel hardware on the front of my arrow. Aluminum inserts are the "weak link" on a lot of otherwise heavy hitting hunting arrows. These brass inserts are much more dependable and solid. I installed them with Cool Flex in several types of carbon shafting. All with good results. They seem to be machined more precisely than a lot of the aluminum inserts and so far seem very consistent. Obviously, they are a great way to add more weight to an arrow.

                      These inserts are extremely well made and are a great way to add poInt and FOC to your arrows without changing broadheads. They are milled accurately and fit well into my Arrow Dynamics shafts. I would recommend using hotmelt glue so you can try them along with standard inserts. Both standard thread broadheads and field points. They are also threaded on the back end so even more weight can be added if desired. A great product overall and if you are purchasing arrow shafts that are compatible with them I'd recommend getting a pack to gIve you more flexIbIlIty In tuning your arrows. I'm not a big fan of weight tubes and those rings placed in front of the inserts and these solve that problem. I have also found that you can get even more weight flexibility by grinding or filing the backs as needed.

                        This review is for the 100 gr. brass inserts for Easton Axis / Beman MFX: Perfect fit, exact and consistent weight, heavier, and they are 25% cheaper than the original 75/50 gr. brass inserts.
                        Very effective for building high FOC / high penetration big-game hunting arrows.
