    I bought these for my new 3R Hunting arrows. The arrows are awesome! I love them! The "fur" tracers on the other hand, not so much. They were supposed to help me find my arrows when I lost them. However, it soon became apparent to me that they would not work as desired. When I loose an arrow, it goes just underneath the grass, and the tracer does absolutely no good at all.

    In addition, I think the tracers make the arrows look goofy, and ruins the awesome traditional look of the wood. My mom and sister thought that they made my arrows look "cute", seeing as I had installed the Ace replica points, "cute" was not exactly what I was going for. If you do any kind of competitive shooting, or reenactment shooting, these are not a good choice.

    The best way to find lost arrows is with a metal detector.

        These tracers go on pretty easily as long as you cut them right. They dont seem to affect arrow flight but really don't provide the visual impact I was looking for. If a visual aid is what your looking for, I think people are much better off using bright fletching. Three Rivers CS however, was excellent as always.

        I love these tracers. I started putting them on my Judo Points for Stump shooting. It really helped establish a mental image of the arrow flight path with instinctive shooting and aids in finding arrows buried under the leaves (even with Judo Points). The adhesive is really poor and for a while I added a drop of glue to the ends to get them to stay put but that is always a mess. I started using fletching tape and that is the ticket. Just go ahead and add a single wrap of fletching tape then wrapped the fur tracer right over the tape, quick easy no fuss. I have now started using fur tracers for target shooting. Who needs lighted nocks when you can use Fur Tracers.

                I have bought several of these. Remove backing with the point of a small razor knife.
                Major problem with consistant quality, some fur is close to 3/4" long but have received some with nap no longer than 1/4" which are a waste of time and money to install.
                I would recommend only if consistant quality improves

                  They are great to monitor flight and see your arrow. The problem is getting them off the adhesive strip I have destroyed many in trying to peel off and it rips through the adhesive part even. Also I have had strips that are half the poof almost bare versus others in the same shipment! Once on they are great though just improve the adhesive and quality control of strips.
