I work with Tred on his dealings here at 3Rivers Archery and as a gift from Lar'e (Tred's arrow builder) I was given a free 6-pack of 60-65 Full Rut Barta Dream Hunter Arrows. As I normally shoot carbon arrows I was excited to get them to get back to shooting wood arrows. The amount of time and dedication it takes to make a beautiful wood arrow can not be replaced by any other arrow material. Truely are functional works of art!

The arrows perform great! Enough helical on them so they fly straight and true to the target. A bit noisy due to the larger than normal feathers, but they are accurate. Good speed to out of my Tomahawk Longbow. The stain and finish is one of dreams, and the self nock is cut to where it fits perfect on my serving with just the right amount of pressure to not fall off. They now have some wrapping around the nock for added protection. I did notice that the top of my arrow self nocks are being chipped by my brass string nock. Easily fixed by replacing my nock with a tied on nocking point using dental floss.

With the larger feathers it is easier to tune the arrows as the feathers correct mistakes in my form. I look forward to hunting deer this season with a Woodsman Broadhead on the end of one of these Dream Hunter arrows!
