The arrow grippers themselves are excellent, but the arrow hood by itself is too noisy for hunting. The SOLUTION, I Just stufffed a rag into the quiver's hood. That greatly reduced noise and made it so my broadheads wouldn't poke and scratch the quiver hood plastic.

For the money this thing works quite well, and, I won't cry when I break it or loose it. I'll just get another one. The mounting system is pretty secure and very easy to mount on your bow. This quiver is rather noisy when left on the bow when shooting, so, when I get in my stand the quiver comes right off and hangs on a tree hook for easy access. I use a large diameter carbon shaft for the "fourth arrow" to hold the hood.

    I was looking for an inexpensive quiver for my old Pearson recurve. This one isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it good, either. The slots are sized for carbon arrows, apparently - I had to bore them out with a Dremel to fit my wooden shafts. The broadhead cover clips to the fourth arrow.

      I wanted to experiment with a bow quiver, but did not want to put out too much money. I remember my Dad had a Kwikee Kwiver on his recurve when I was a kid. No complaints with the quality of construction or price. As always, I received my order from 3rivers in a couple of days and in good shape. The arrow holders attach to the bow securely and will not damage bow finish. The only problem I had was with the broadhead cover. It is a little tricky to position so the limb will not hit it. I experimented with an old aluminum shaft to attach the cover. I used duct tape and a shot of Great Stuff foam in the hood to attempt to quiet it. Still, a noticeable buzz when shooting. The only way I can see to keep this quiet is to use it without the broadhead cover. Obviously, this poses a potential hazard when walking through the bush with exposed broadheads. If you take all this into consideration, you'll get your money's worth.

            This thing is cheesy. Would not work on my K-Mag. You can not adjust the angle of the bracket, so they don't line up. Hood is a toy. I will use the brackets elsewhere to hold arrows. Save a few extra bucks and get a real bow quiver.

            The improved quiver includes some padding to dampen sound but more is needed. A rectangle that would cover the front/top/back would be simple to add. There are already two sticky backed semi circles to cover the sides. The cover would be be better if designed to attach to the limb gripping bars instead of the 4th arrow. But it does work. It looks like it would grip any bow securely and appears robustly made. I would feel safer if the broadheads were covered more completely and the cover better attached. But you would get more weight that way.

              Don't let the little guy dissappoint you out of the box. When I first received it, I thought...oops. But then I started playing around with putting on my bow. I have NEVER attached a quiver to my bow because I didn't like extra stuff on the bow. Well, I have changed my mind. I did not like the sound when initially shot. Sounded like the arrows in the quiver struck the quiver head. No problem... I inserted a piece of copper piping foam in the quiver head...PERFECT. By doing so all the arrow heads seat in the foam which dampened all sound. The only other addition I did was place camo tape over the top outside of the quiver head. I like the way it looks and it helps with the sound of falling rain. I now LOVE the fact that I don't carry a quiver in the field hunting. As a price conscious shopper I can tell you... I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER QUIVER. This thing is economical and makes GREAT SENSE. Take dead aim and enjoy your shooting!!!

              Bought this for hunting and target shooting. Great for switching between bows. No problems in all conditions but did not like the tip cover. Made a lot of noise when it got hit by a branch and rain also the lock onto an arrow thing wasn't too intriguing. All in all I love it. Quick easy access to my arrows and holds them tight when on the move. very quiet also. Shot two deer with it on.

                This is a good, solid, quiet quiver. It attaches easily and holds the arrows perfectly. The broadhead cover is plastic and a little clumsy so I just don't use it. The cover is easy enough to attach to the fourth arrow but I just don't care for it. I've got this quiver mounted to a Bear Montana long bow and it looks right at home. The rubber mounts on this quiver even seem to quiet the bow down a little. When mounted on a longbow the arrows are positioned far enough back that both the broadheads and fletches are protected by the bow's limbs when I'm weaving my way through tight timber. I would recommend this quiver to anyone not wanting to spent big money on a fancy quiver.

                  I love this quiver. The only problem I have had with it is the hood clips onto the fourth arrow. To remedy this I just don't use it. All the points I use are fairly blunt so I do not have to worry about getting cut.

                    The basic design is great and has not changed since my father bought his in the 1960's the one concern I have is the partially exposed blades on the sides of the cover. the newer version has partial covering of the blades but it is still possible to cut yourself on the blades. I have modified mine already to have the sides cover the blades and this does not seem to hinder access to the arrows at all. it is very easy to install and remove and I would recomend this quiver to anyone who wants to try hunting with a longbow or recurve and does not have alot of disposable cash. For the price it is hard to find a better deal.
