Alaska Bowhunting Supply doesn't make anything that won't stand up to Alaska's weather or animals. Took it bear hunting and put it through hell, I still have it on my bow (which hangs next to the bear rug). And if you need more than three arrows....practice.

the rubber straps broke after only a few shots..the quiver over all design is good. the rubber straps are poor quality and not strong enough for the pressure of the hood with only one rivet.the hood is good leather, the rubber arrow grips will only work with 11/32,23/64 arrows. 5/16 are to small to fit snugly

    The entire mounting system consists of 2 mini zip ties! Are you kidding me? In order to cinch it tight enough it will dig into your bow limbs...and then the ties will break. The actual hood and the grippers are very nice, but the mounting system makes this quiver an unservicable piece of junk!

    Thought I would give it a try. I did not have the slipping problem like the others. However when it is mounted to my longbow it flops around. The zip ties are tight but the hole thing is not ridged. It is however very light. I shoot muzzy 3 blade broadheads and it is a very tight fit with 3 arrows. You would be best to use 2 blade heads. the foam in the hood is useless, will have to find better foam.

        I like the ease of the zip-tie component to this quiver. I did try using a leather lace as an alternative which worked great! The quiver felt comfortable on my longbow and securely held my cedar arrows.

        this is a well made perfect 3 arrow quiver. the thought of drilling inserts in my vintage 70's
        bear "griz" recurve made me cringe. This little quiver fills the bill perfectly for me, I just replaced the zipties provided(they slipped) with leather boot laces(look better too). The Skookum holds 3 cedar arrows with eskimo broadheads tight as a vise,is quiet,and sits close to the griz so it is great for stillhunting in tight cover
