I received this quiver for my birthday. It is my first, so I can't compare it against anything else. It is well built and will certainly last for years. My only knock against it is the color. The picture looks oil-tanned, but it is obviously stained, and is a tad red. At my first shoot it stained the back of my shirt.

I use mine for everyday practice or for hunting with Flu-Flu's or blunts (hunting game where noise is not really a factor). Should last for many years.

I used one of these quivers for about 5 years. My wife started shooting so I let her use it for about 4 years. I'm using it again now. In the nearly 10 years it has been used the only sign of wear are some scratches from branches, thorns, etc...Even the extra piece of leather in the bottom of the quiver is still in good shape. This is a sturdy, well made, good looking quiver. This quiver is strudy but not too heavy. The quiver conforms well to your back keeping the arrows quiet. The leather isn't water repellent but a little Montana pitch blend applied several times a year fixes that problem. If you are a particularly small individual then a few extra adjustment holes in the shoulder strap would be nice. A good hole punch and a hammer would fix that problem. I expect to be using this quiver for a long time.

I got this quiver for my birthday several months ago, I had never really used a back quiver before. I am very satisfied with the 'rover', it being very functional and extremely tough. If you are questioning whether to buy it or not, for [...], you could buy this quiver and never need another for years on years. I do encourage you to make your own quiver, buy the tools and satisfy yourself.
