    I ordered the small gripper replacement for my Bear bow quiver because I recently switched from aluminum arrows to carbon Goldtip woodgrain and the rubber that came with the quiver was too loose. The small rubber replacement worked great for the carbons. Holes lined up good and installed easily. I use it daily for target practice as well as hunting. Only 2 slots are used for practice arrows, the other 3 keep my broadheads. I practice with the quiver attached to mimic my hunting conditions. The arrows go in and out easily and keep a consistant grip.

    If you shoot 2114 arrows, this gripper is too tight (they simply fell out of the one it came equipped with). It is very difficult to get the arrows in. Frustrating would be an appropriate word for the experience. The quiver itself is of much poorer quality than I had hoped for. The cover came off the first time I put the arrows in leaving them clanking and hanging (good thing they were not broadheads). I had to superglue it back together. Neither gripper fits 2114's, so if you shoot these, look at the Great Northern. It is much higher quality, and the arrows fit perfectly. I picked up this one because I needed greater arrow capacity. I think I'll just stick with the Great Northern and make do with 5. It is so difficult to reach the back 2 arrows in the GFA, that having 7 doesn't really matter anyway.

      I have used the same Delta quiver on several different bows in the past 17 yrs. and, because I'm switching to ST carbons, I have to buy a new gripper. After reading the reviews, it seems evident that most folks don't understand tightening the lock nuts will squeeze the rubber causing it to hold smaller shafts. Loosening the lock nuts lets the gripper accept larger shafts. My gripper has held both aluminum and wood shafts of different diameter for 17 years and is still working fine.

        I believe the smaller size gripper is only for the small Easton Arrows. regular carbon arrows fits really tight to the grip that comes with the quiver already. I was advised to buy the smaller size gripper for my carbon arrows and when it came, it was too small, so i returned it back.

          The grippers were fine, had trouble with the GFA quiver as the Broadhead end came right off as I was going into the woods o the first day out. Tried to contact Mr. Asbell as I bought it directly from him at Denton Hill, but haven't been able to get a response.

            Great quiver,glad they make a replacement gripper for carbons.My beaman 400 fit good in the gripper that comes standard on the quiver.Got it anyway just in case.quality is the same as the original.

                    This product is a must if going from wood to carbon, if using 5/16th buy the std size the smaller size will be fine for the 1/4" but is tight for the 5/16.
