        This is a great alternative for people who wish to try out thumbring shooting, but do not have time or the means to be fitted with a proper thumbring. The leather has enough thickness to last for some time, and the the adjustable strap allows for fitting to almost all sizes of thumbs. Unlike the solid thumbrings made of horn/pvc/plastic/stone, the leather may not relieve as much pressure on your thumb, but you will appreciate that there is a more "tactile" feel when you are performing the thumbring draw style of archery. I picked this up in addition to the other thumbrings they sell here so that others may be able to try my bow even if they do not have a thumbring.

            Comments about Leather Thumb Ring:

            While the strap is adjustable and fit my thumb fine, on last hole, the pad itself is too small. The string dug into the sides of my thumb when at full draw. However, leather was thick enough to protect thumb where it covered. Think product is good for smaller thumbs.
