      If this is approached as an instructional video it's dead useful. I.e. don't expect a tense and exciting plot, bombastic music and special digital effects. The video does what it promises to do, help you through the steps of building a bow without skipping vital information or withholding trade secrets. The two bowyers definitely give me the impression that they know what they're talking about, the plain honesty of which I prefer above some pretty talking head reading a text without having the slightest clue.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        I am an archer for some years now... and always thought a bow is just a well bending end springy piece of wood. Now i know more about the wood i'm holding when i'm shooting it. The work it took to get it so well bending. And it made me think:" can I do that as well?" And guess what? I can!

                THIS IS A BAD MOVIE.IT TALKS ABOUT MAKING THE BOW WITHOUT SHOWING YOU HARDLY ANYTHING.AND THERE IS NO SPECIFICS.IT IS SHOT FROM SUCH A DISTANCE YOU BASICALLY SEE NOTHING.YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE A BOW IF YOU WATCH THIS MOVIE UNLESS YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A BOW.ANY OTHER MOVIE WILL HELP YOU MORE.
