    This spear is a gift for a friend, i had trouble to put the head on the shaft, could not get it to go all the way down, but it is a very impressive tool and will buy one for my self, i stained the wood handle Mahogany red,

      I bought this a a tracking tool, that is to take in the woods after a shot in the evening. I bought one back in the summer with the idea to solve the problem of following a track in the dark. As any bowhunter will tell you its nearly impossible to hold a flashlight and shoot a bow. I have only had to use this once on a deer that was very much alive but to weak to run. This product goes in the woods with me on every track becuase you never know!
