    Folks, don't let the easy price fool you. I have two of these beauties, and I feel justified in saying that this is a real tool for real adventures.My real trust in this great axe came after a slight mishap at the chopping block one day.With one of the Trail Bosses already stuck in the block, I was working with the other one on the ground, knocking apart some kindling. From my kneeling position, I clumsily twisted around to swing the axe behind me to stick it into the block beside the other one. To my horror, I totally misjudged my swing and the edge of the axe slammed into the poll of the first one.As I surveyed the damage, I realized that there was nothing to worry about! The soft steel in the poll of the first axe was deeply gouged by the bit of the axe in my hand. However, the hard cutting edge of the axe with which I had been working was almost undamaged! A couple of minutes with a file and you'd never have known anything happened!Cold Steel tempers these axes so that the steel of the cutting edge is far harder, and therefore more durable than the steel at the back of the head. Differential hardness! This way, the edge stays sharp while the softer steel of the rest of the head can better endure the blunt trauma associated with everyday AXE STUFF!The Trail Boss is a winner! For a mere [$] bucks or so, you can't afford NOT to grab one.Or two!
