Only problem was that I had to cut a larger delta shaped flake cavity to get longer flakes. It wasn't difficult, just had to be careful. The wooden back model that is sold here is just a bit too thick for my hand. Both grip the stone well and gives a strong but a slight giving when pressure flaking. I really enjoy it

      I make my own arrow heads, stone knives and ax blades for my traditional archery equipment business.I used to use just a leather palm pad. This product helps with control as well as all the wear and tear on my hands.
