Comments about Leather Flint Knapping Pads:

The small pad is nice quality. It is just the right size for my hand (xl glove) and provides a good layer of protection. Leather is good quality, and really thick for extra padding and protection. To that end, it is extremely stiff when you first get it. I suspect it will loosen up with use, but right now it is difficult to hold the flint and feel the correct support through this stiff leather. As we all know, proper support in knapping is a must. I am unsure on this but I think some leather conditioner might help soften it up. I guess for the price it is worth trying and if I mess it up, oh well, I'll order another one!

Overall, good quality item, well worth the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking for extra padding and protection.
