Great for the beginner on a budget. With a little skill you can come out with a great shooting custom longbow.

I took the chalange. Making my own bow. With the help of books, DVD's, 3Rs techs, and friends I got through it. I'm an experienced furniture maker and in my youger days built surfboards. Wood work experience is helpful. Everyone that shot the bow says wow really smooooth.
The first blank was delivered and was broken by the shipper. 3R was quick to send the second blank.

I was very surprised when I completed this bow and shot it. It had very little handshock and was faster then I thought it would be. It just puts the arrow where you aim.

Great performing bow with the addition of bamboo. I added phenolic to the tips to use an 8125 string and I am now getting 185+ f.p.s. at 8 grains per pound.
