Comments about Kahn Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

Smooth draw, shoots fast, accurate, and easy to get used to as someone returning to archery. Perfect size for hunting deer in the thick Pacific Northwest brush. Hopefully will test it out in the field this fall. Stringing it is a little tricky, but not too bad once you get the hang of it.

Comments about Kahn Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

This bow is a lot of fun. I actually purchased the korean traditional bow first, because I practice a korean martial art. Once I tried and loved that bow, I noticed that the Kahn bow is very similar and made by the same manufacturer, but with a key difference: It has a small arrow shelf cut partway to center. This makes it feel significantly more "point and shoot" than the korean bow. In fact, it is remarkably easy to aim. My archery buddies were all surprised by how almost magically easy it is to hit the mark with it. These bows are incredibly light and surprisingly fast. (That's why I added the tag "survival kit" to this review: If you were going somewhere remote , say in a small plane or something, it weighs nothing and it's small. You'd be really happy to have this and a couple arrows if you got stuck somewhere and needed to hunt- "Survivorman" would have been super stoked to have one of these!) The draw is super smooth and it's very quiet. I use mine all the time. I really can't think of much wrong with it, but you have to be very careful not to damage the tips. They seem like they might be vulnerable to damage if you were to apply unusual forces to them. I think they're fine for normal use , because the angles of the force vectors from the string wouldnt' work the tips that hard, but if you stepped on the end of the bow or did accidentally dropped it right on the tip or something it might break. Also, stringing these bows is a bit tricky. Very awkward with a stringer. You almost have to use the step thru method.

Comments about Kahn Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

I've had this for about a week and Have loved every pull of the string. Shoots way harder than expected and very accurate. For the price, you really can't get much better for a trad. recurve. Shooting traditional only 600gr arrows brilliantly. Awaiting my first deer/pig/turkey
If you want something simple/beautiful/hard hitting
      this is it

Comments about Kahn Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

It's just what I wanted; classic looks w a shelf for a finger shooter.

Mine is marked 45/52. It draws 40 at 28. The string that came w it is 47 inches long and braces it at 6 inches. The large 4 inch loops are unusual, but work great.

Very reflexed when unstrung. Cord stringers are hard to use, bow tends to torque. Modified step through shown in brochure works much better, and is easy when you get the hang of it.

Mine is smooth, fast, quiet, and shoots where I look. Didn't need any adjusting, has same POI/POA as my old Bear and new Martin trad bows. 1916/2016 aluminum, 600/500 carbon arrows flew great. Even some old #7 Micro-Flite fiberglass arrows I have. About 160 fps w 500g arrows, drawn 28 inches w fingers. A fantastic deal for the price!

Comments about Kahn Korean Traditional Horse Bow:

This bow will feel like a toy in the hand but after you shoot it, your mind will change instantly. Bow is very fast has very little hand shock & is quiet. The grip is small so it feels a little hard to hold on to. The shelf is described as "cut nearly center" but is actually 3/16" from center. This still makes it easier than most horsebows to shoot. The tips could use better finishing & look roughly done. I am not sure as to how well it would hold up to prolonged use or a good rain due to the lack of finish on the tips on the belly side. I've had about 50 arrows through it so far & all is well. The bow is so much fun to shoot, I will keep this bow for certain. Want to try to hunt with it for sure.
