After making some of my own 3-Fingers Under tabs, and having fun doing it, I realized that I might need a smoother release surface. When I got this tab I was amazed. Not only did it fit more comfortably than my home-made work, but it really improved my release, thus accuracy. Making your own stuff is fun- but you really can't compromise on the basics, I'm so glad I purchased this item.

Great quality, but a bit stiff for me. I also had a difficult time finding my anchor consistently w/o having a hard release. I expect it will soften up with break in. I plan on using it often, but for now, any tab with hair on it is better for me.

this is a great tab if it fits, I was only dissapointed due to the fact it doesn't come in a small. It sooo slick upon release I couldnt really control my release due to it being a little big. the stitch joint forces you to have a " deep grip " but again size is the culprit. If it's your size, it's a winner!

I wanted a back-up tab to my Fred Eichler tab so thought I try this one since Fred's were on back-order. It's fine, but I don't much care for the elastic band that fits over your finger versus the leather design of Fred's. It's a good back-up but Fred's is better.

A few months ago I picked up traditional archery after having used a release on my compound bow for years. I have gotten several tabs including 1 over 2 under and others like this 3 under. This is my favorite tab hands down.

I measured my hands which I'd say are small, 8" around the palm, middle finger is 3" long, and my shooting fingers are roughly 2" around. I got the large size in this tab and the length is just right. I may trim the excess next to my ring finger to reduce the amount touching the string to just what covers my fingers.

The elastic loop is great in use. Some tabs that have the leather hole start to chafe the insides of my fingers. Not this, it is comfortable throughout my practice.

The first thing I noticed is that the tab fit my hand but was long for my fingers. OK I have a large hand and short fingers. I trimmed a bit off the tab and darn I too a little too much off. Not a problem I just slide it down my middle finger a bit further.

The next thing I noticed was how easily my fingers slid off of the tab. I've been shooting it about two weeks. It seems to be wearing real well. Actually no signs of wear except breaking in to fit my fingers. I like this tab.

About the only thing I'd like to change with this tab is to increase the thickness of the leather. It is very close to being perfect.

If I were to be really picky I'd consider using something other than elastic to hold it on my finger. I prefer leather especially for such a beautiful leather product.

I have always used a split finger calf hair tab. I recently switched to a 3 finger under grip so I decided to change tabs. So far I am impressed. I didn't need any break-in time and I was able to hunt with this tab comfortably within days after receiving it as the finger strap held on well and I didn't have to get used to something new in my hand. My string release is definitely smoother now and I think the cordovan tab will last longer. I haven't had it long enough to comment on how well it lasts or I could have given a higher rating.

This tab was backordered but arrived at 3 Rivers the day after I placed my order. It was shipped to me on that day which didn't cause me any delays and I rec'd the pkg faster than I thought I would. Great service as usual 3 Rivers Archery.

I just wanted to write this review so that customers who have bought this tab in the past are aware of the subtle change of the tab. First of all, I really like these tabs. I like to keep at least two at all times, whether hunting or shooting tournaments. I noticed the elastic was stretched enough to warrant buying a replacement. The leather on new one I received was much thinner compared to my other tabs of the same make. I wasn't too sure I would like the thinner tab, but so far I haven't noticed any ill effects in my shooting. It should be a little easier to "break in" given the thinner leather and I plan on giving it a run in tomorrow at a 3D tournament and plenty of shooting on subsequent days because bow season opens in less than a month!!

I absolutely love this tab. I haven't been shooting a recurve for very long. I first started messing around with a glove but found I didn't have as much control over my release. I bought this and the 3 under black widow tab. While I do feel the black widow is good, I prefer this tab as it seems to keep my fingers more uniform on the release. It seems to be very good and durable construction, and after approximately 1000 shots it isn't showing any signs of wear. When I first got the tab it seemed a little stiff, but after shooting for awhile it tends to break in and conform to your fingers. I feel that anyone who wants a cleaner release should try this product.

This is a well made tab and the Cordovan leather makes for a slick release. The tab does run on the small side so if you normally shoot a large tab you will need an XL.
If you shoot an XL you might be out of luck here.
I shoot a 51lb Longbow and found the tab a little thin for doing a lot of shooting. I add some soft Velcro to the back layer and the tab was perfect for those long practice sessions.
If it weren't for the need to add a little extra thickness to the tab I would have rate this 5 stars.
You may find that it's perfect for you. Regardless, it's a great product and I highly recommend it.
