First tab I've ever bought

Very Protective
I used it for target shooting. It was too stiff when I first started using it but after a couple times on the range it softened up.

Its very protective, and the release is very consistent, just like it suggests you get the feel of a tab albeit a bit thick. So after a while I got used to it and its really protects your fingers.

CONS:
Its hard to nock arrows. Had to take my index finger out of the SAM to knock arrows. Pulling out arrows on the other hand is no problem. Also I don't know how to much to twist the leather to have a good fit so there's a bit of variably there.

Bottom Line: This is my first tab, so my knowledge isn't very strong. I think that it works well, aside from the thickness.

This tab could possibly work with a little trimming and break in. I had trouble keeping the arrow on the shelf. Will give it a little more use and see what happens. I think this tab would be excellent for heavy poundage bows, as its very protective.

    I have recently gotten back into traditional archery. I have shot in the past. I have never really been satisied with any of the tabs or gloves I have owned. Currently I am shooting 96 plus arrows a day and this Archery Mitt Tab is the best tab ever. I love it, it is comfortable and allows for a very smooth release. I think everyone who shoots bows ought to to have one..........

          I bought this "many moons ago" when they first hit the market at the Great Lakes Longbow Invitational in 1992 (they may have been hand-made) at that time.
          I have to admit they just somehow look different now, but that's not to their discredit as I have not used a recent maufactured one.
          I did trim some length off of the ends that cover your finger-tips for a better feel (that would be your call).
          I'm still using that original one and I do a LOT of shooting. It looks like a well-used old baseball mitt,and feels as comfortable as you can imagine. It's beginning to look a little worn where the metal string-nock rides but, except for loss, I expect it to last longer than I do!

                I have used gloves for several years but sometimes it "hooked" at the string with very bad release as result. I bought the MIT to give it a try. I felt funny in the beginning and I thought it should pinch the nock – but not! Now I am very pleased with it and it feels better the more I use it.

                  I have used the S.A.M. tab for 20 years. It works perfect for 3 fingers under. Easy on - easy off - always attached to your wrist. Works great while wearing a glove with the fingers cut off.

                    I have an old, well worn "Super Archery Mitt" that has seen considerable use over 10 years. I used it with a compound and am now using it with traditional bows. I get protection but am still able to feel the release.
