    I was a bit dubious about this tab after falling in love with the calf hair version, but this is a mighty fine tab too. The calf hair version is so buttery soft that I thought this one would feel harsh and stiff. Well, after several shots it broke in quite nicely and it shoots beautifully. I prefer the calf hair model for lighter bows because it offers more feel, but this smooth leather version works great under hunting weight, where it feels solid and reassuring. And it's hard to go wrong at this price - you could buy several and have spares, backups, etc. where ever you like.

      I started using this tab 12 yrs ago and have continued buying myself one every few yrs. My last purchase of this tab was for a friend of mine. He started shooting traditional a few months ago and I wanted him to have a good tab. I use this tab for hunting. Great feel and protection.

      I inherited my grandfathers York crest recurve this past thanksgiving my father got me some accessories the leather tab was one I find the tab comfortable and compact however I have thicker hands and the rivet used on the fingerhole causes some discomfort by rubbing other than that I prefer this over my gloves

            This tab provides a very smooth release. As a beginning archer, I was, reluctantly, beginning to believe that my everyday experience of shooting arrows was going to consist of new and imaginative ways of folding the ring finger portion of the glove I was using against the string to avoid the searing pinching and swelling of my ring finger or buidling up some kind of resilience in the finger to be able to shoot for more than about 45 minutes at a time. Rookie mistake, I guess. This is a great product, and its going to improve my shooting experience drastically.

                  Use this tab as a back up for 3D in dry weather. I like the rubber spacer, rather than the plastic, and the small tab that rolls up to protect the forfinger. It's not as comfortable as the "Neet tabs".
