Doesn't work for me

The release was very smooth, but after only a few flights the hair was worn off of the large section and the smaller section completely broke loose. Maybe a different hold, serving, etc....Read complete review

The release was very smooth, but after only a few flights the hair was worn off of the large section and the smaller section completely broke loose. Maybe a different hold, serving, etc. would work for another archer.

            Before I purchased this, I did a little research. I used to shoot archery in high school, over 20 years ago. I used to use a finger glove, as I never really understood how to use a tab. I did a LOT of research, talking to both traditional archers, and checking other reviews online. Overall, the divide was pretty even. But, as I already had experience with the glove, I wanted to try something different. I was happy I did.
            This tab is decent quality. I shoot a 45# bow, and get no finger pinching at all. I shoot one up, two down, if that helps too. The one complaint I do have is that I ordered a medium sized one, thinking that it would fit fine. The finger hole feels just a little snug to me. If you DONT know your size, I suggest ordering a size larger. It fits, but can be a pain to get on & off. I havent worn it for more than a half hour at a time, so I dont know if I would lose finger sensation over time due to that. Other than that ONE issueo, this is really a great tab for shooting.

              This tab is so comfortable and easy to use. This is very well made and has a very smooth release. I am a big guy with big hands so I got the large and it is a bit bulky but an easy fix , I just trimmed some excess off and it's perfect.

                  This is an inexpensive tab, but it does the job. The calf hair is nice and slippery, and comes off the string easily. It has a nice look and feel.

                  Unfortunately, the calf hair started delaminating on the first day of shooting. It still protects the fingers, but is not as smooth, and I expected it would last longer. In retroscpect, I would recommend a different tab, or a glove.

                  To be fair, I haven't shot a bow in several years and my technique is pretty rusty, so perhaps I worked the tab too hard. Still, I expected more durability.
