    I purchased this armguard a little over a year ago when getting into traditional archery. I've used it with both a 45# longbow and a 55# recurve. NEVER feel string slap through this guard with either bow. Bungee cords are a little long, but make for easy adjustment to wear this over a layer or two of clothing in cold weather, or snugly when in a t-shirt in warmer weather.

    Now, before we take into account anything I say, let's remember I'm a beginner with no training or experience, mkay? Good. Now. This glove is incredibly sturdy and well made and it will seemingly last a very long time. extra padding in the center gives this some extra protection. For me it's very uncomfortable, but I'm sure that's because it hasn't been broken in yet and the leather is incredibly rigid to begin with. In addition (probably due to the fact that I'm shooting wrong) this seems to be plainly ineffective in protecting me since all the blows from the string are landing on my wrist, where this provides no protection. Other than that, as I said, very sturdy product that will last a long time. Easy to get on and off. Simple to adjust. Good stuff.

                          The size is good for me. I am 5'8" and have thin arms. I haven't hit my arm with the string yet, but I am pretty sure it will prevent any pain when that happens. Looks good. We'll see how it goes after a couple of seasons. Good value.

                            I use this arm guard for hunting and target shooting and I must say it's the best arm guard I've ever used. I've been hunting for 35+ years. Extremely easy and quiet to put on and take off in the field. Fantastic adjustment. Looks great and very well made. I can't say enough about the product.
