Very nice armguard that is easy to lace up and hold in place with a loop under so that the last lace snugs against the running end. Too long for me, so make sure you do a good job measuring your arm. When the guard is on I can't bend my arm to drink if the guard is up high but if it's down low I can't bend my wrist. No fault of the product, I should have taken better care when fitting. I'll simply have my local cobbler make a cut to the leather.

This is a quality product, but, if you have skinny wrists like myself, you might want to look elsewhere. After using it, I would find my wrist chaffed where the leather rode against it. I may try softening it up with some neatsfoot oil or, if that doesn't work, trimming the front edge to clear my wrist.

This armguard is a little stiff at first, but loosens up with use. It seemed a little long for me at first, but with some trimming around the uper inside half it is now quite comfortable.

    I purchased the arm guard since I wanted something functional that would also look traditional for the ocassional Ren Faire. This is a great choice for that. The leather construction is a good mix of sturdy durability while retaining enough flexibility. It laces up with a leather cord similar to some boots and looks nice. The only potential downside is that while not uncomfortable, it feels a bit too much like wearing leather armor.

    The guard itself is excellent. The problem with it is the raw hide binding, which makes it difficult to put on. I replaced the raw hide with elasticized material and it works great.

          I have pretty long arms and have been looking for a good, heavy leather armguard that covers more of my forearm. Found it! Ive always had a problem of shorter guards working their way down to my wrist leaving my upper forearm bare.

          Made of good, heavy leather for more than adequate protection and made to a length that keeps bulky clothes out of the way for hunting. Easy on and off and plenty of adjustment range for bare arms or heavier coats.

          The only "con" I found was the website photo shows this as brown, mine was a very red colored leather. Not a big deal at all in my opinion though, I dont feel the need to color match my accessories.

            As a beginner at archery I bought this armguard to help protect my arm while using my long bow. Great armguard but it could have just a little more padding added to it. Still get a slap from the bow string. All together it is a good product. I would definatly buy it again.
