Been using tabs for about fifteen years, get out of the rut try something new. If all else fails give it to your lady as a coin purse. A few obsticles at first like grabbing the nock in a back quiver was like a gorilla combing its hair, Your fingers are now alot bigger, just leave it on when you sleep for a few nights will get you tuned in..The construction of having your fingers, upper palm, wrist all locked together is awesome stability. Your anchor point like in my case might have to be adjusted slightly, you'll find that spot automatically and its really just a fraction of space from where your accustomed to. The release feels alot stiffer, stronger control with heavier bows.felt as thou my posture and follow-through got some tech training..Dont think about it just get.

The middle finger leather and webbing rotated constantly with use. I have to twist it back to the position of the nylon webbing on the string after just about every shot. I guess I got a bum made one. I hope they aren't all like this. The thickness of the webbing also makes it difficult to feel nocks during pulling an arrow out of the quiver while keeping an eye on the target.

Comments about Tred Barta Gloves:

I've been buying these for a few years and unfortunately they really dropped off. The fingers have a twist to them, and the stalls are too long. The string is now cutting into the bottom fingers nylon when I shoot.

I hope they can bring back the older shorter stall style - they were much much better.

The webbing should have come father down on the finger, it has the tendency to catch the string on release.

    Comments about Tred Barta Gloves:

the overlays could have been longer as the material is long enough. if you have a deep hook then the string falls behind the overlay and catches on it at release, could be corrected at the factory with just sewing the overlay longer on the string side of the finger then it would be a great glove, now I have to find someone to take them off and re sew them.

      Comments about Tred Barta Gloves:

This is my first shooting glove, chosen because of the very positive reviews. Even though I am just starting out, I thought why not spend a little more for glove that should last. Although I have used it for only a few hundred arrows so far, it appears that it should last for many years. This glove was comfortable from the start and having been broken in is only more comfortable. The nylon reinfocements on the finger tips are very tough but still provide good string feel. I am very happy with this glove.

Great solid feel. No slippage at the fingers like my previous glove. My releases are much better and more consistent. Now at one with the bow, it is like there is no glove at all.

              Comments about Tred Barta Gloves:

Added a reflex/deflex longbow to the arsenal and started with a cheaper Neet bow glove. Fingers got numb after awhile and I felt like I was holding the string too deep to my first joint. So far, love this Tred Barta glove. The nylon webbing does smooth out my release. My groupings tightened the first night. And the extra thickness allows me to shoot longer. The sizing chart worked for me and the fit is great ... follow it!

                Comments about Tred Barta Gloves:

Great glove. I really enjoy shooting with it. It offers great finger protection. Nylon webbing tends to fray after only about one week of shooting a few hours a night, but a little heat from a lighter or propane torch fixes it very well. It appears to have fixed the fraying problem permanently. Great glove, great asset to any traditional archer!

Excellent fit and comfort. I shoot a 60lb longbow and you need something between your fingers and the string. It does well and is really comfortable. I may buy another just for hunting.
