Mixed feelings on Glove

Cons:The leather is very hard (like a saddle), while I've been taking steps to soften it, the glove begins to hurt after 30-40 arrows. The finger holes come to a point and the tips of my fingers get pinched. I also can't feel the string well. I have not given up on this product but If I were someone else I'd try one of the other brands. For now I'm keeping my trusty finger tap.

Pros:The sizing guide was accurate, the product is very well made (I'll dust for 20 years before that glove breaks).

I loved the style of the glove, which was my main reason for purchasing it. It's sturdy and provides protection where you need it. Unfortunately, the fingertips are made of hard stiff leather that comes to a point at the tips which makes for an uncomfortable time breaking it in. I'll have to admit though, that it didn't begin hurt my fingers till after 3 or 4 rounds of target shooting. Another key point I noticed was that the glove doesn't let you roll the string to lock your arrow very easily, if at all. I know this has to do with the type of leather, and in hindsight, should have been made with a sued material on the inside of the fingers or a more subtle leather to fix this problem. I like to tweak anything that doesn't work for me, so I'll probably end up cutting off the tips a bit to make for a more comfortable fit and adhere some sued to the inside fingertips if the continual breaking in of the glove doesn't wear it down enough to roll the string comfortably. All in all, I like the glove, it just needs some adjusting.

    This glove is worth the money and wouldn't recondmend any other. It provides great protection and breaks in really well. I shoot a custom made longbow 42# and i shoot every day and need a reliable glove. This is it.

      This is a great glove. It fits well, and has plenty of adjustment on the back of the hand. I particularly liked that there was no velcro or elastic. It is a very traditional glove for those that like a very traditional experience.

      I bought this glove for the traditional look and feel. It provides great protection and has a good quality leather and construction.

      The leather on the fingers is very very thick and makes it hard to feel the string when shooting. But you can tell it will withstand a lot of wear and tear.

      Trying to use the measuring guide did not work out well for me, I ordered a medium and it was way too small. Because of the thickness, instead of switching out for a smaller one I decided to get the damascus glove instead.

      Bottom line:
      Provides great protection (almost too much) and is high quality construction. I recommend it for traditionalists who don't mind the thickness of the fingertips.

                Great product. Only bad thing I have to say is that I bought to go with the robin hood glove but this glove has a reddish tint to it so it doesn't match all that great. Not a big deal just thought I would put that out there in case anyone else had the same idea as me.
