  • Q:

Are the 3191 rest mount and 354502 (Bear Weather Rest) a good rest combination for this bow? If not, what do you recommend? Also, does the bow have mountings compatible with the 5701 4 pin bow sight?
    Asked on 7/26/2012 by HDS

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

The Bear Weather Rest will work well with this bow, but the rest mount is not necessary. You can mount a sight to this bow.

      54'' 28#

      A:

That would depend on how tall you are. My daughter will be 14 the end of July and her Mohegan bow is 54" in length and 28# in weight. She is 5 feet tall. That one works great for her. If you are taller, you may want to go with a little bit bigger one, like the 62" length and 32# weight. Also, after you select your bow, get your arrows cut to your draw length for best accuracy.

      A:

Yes, we ship to Australia. I do not have any information on the laws in Australia that would pertain to owning or acquiring a bow. I know that I have sent other bows before and have not had any problems reported back to me.

  • Q:

What arrows and length should you use for the 62" 32# bow?
    Asked on 5/3/2012 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

That will depend on who is shooting the bow. We have wooden youth arrows that work really well if the bow is for a kid. If an adult is shooting it you may need to go up to adult arrows. Give us a call at 1-866-587-9501 and we will be able to narrow down the choices for you.

  • Q:

What size should a female 13 yr old, 5'6" get? And what's the difference to the Polaris?
Asked on 5/1/2012 by Leroy brown

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

I recommend the 54" 28# bow. If you wanted something you could grow into, you would want to go with the 62" 32#. The Mohegan and the Polaris are almost identical as far as construction and performance.

I recommend getting something between 25# and 30#. That should be just about right for you.
