  • Q:

This is for a 12 year old. Would you suggest the Sentry or the Titan?
Asked on 8/16/2012 by catie from Warner Robins, GA

      A:

The Titan will be better for a 12 yrs. They would be able to shoot the Sentry, but they would soon out grow it. The Titan will give them room to grow for a few years.

This bow only comes in the dark green. The string length is 47'' item number 4243X

  • Q:

What size arrows should be used with this bow? I was looking at the youth/kids archery 6pack.
    Asked on 6/25/2012 by anonymous

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

I recommend the Wooden Youth Arrows, 4292x. The length of the arrow will depend on the child shooting it. It is better for the arrow to be too long as apposed to too short. If you are in doubt of the correct length then choose the 28".

I've been reading about this and I know that you have to string this bow when you get it. would you say that stringing this bow is easy or difficult because I'm a beginner and have no idea how to do that...

      A:

Stringing a bow is very basic. You should not have any problems with it. I do recommend getting a stringer though. It will help to make the job safer and easier.

This bow would be great for him. The all fiberglass construction makes it nearly indestructible. And he will have room to grow with this bow.

  • Q:

What is the string like on this bow? Does it have a quality string with serving and nock? Others youth bows I've seen only have a piece of rope for string and no nock.

      A:

We send a Dacron double loop bow string out with these bows. It does not have a nocking point on it. We do offer a service to set up a bow before we send it out. For more information give us a call at 1-866-587-9501.
