Q: For a college club with extremely new shooters on 20-28# bows (mostly takedowns with plastic flip-rests), would these be suitable? We currently have a lot of youth wood arrows, but we're looking for something a bit more durable, and suitable for an adult-sized shooter. Asked on 4/4/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The NASP arrows are designed for youth bows. The vanes on the arrows will hinder the arrow flight off of your traditional bows. I would recommend sticking with the wooden youth arrows or looking at some carbon shafts. Something like the Traditional Only shafts and the Easton Ions would work well for you. Answer this question 1 answer A: The NASP Genesis V2 youth arrow is a 1820 aluminum shafting. Would be roughly a 600 spine. Yes, they would be compatible with our Youth Recurve bow kit, BUT as they have vanes and not feathers, you would definitely want to shoot it off an elevated rest (does come with that bow).
