  • Q:

I purchased this tab to try a tab vs the Fred Bear glove that I have now. The Fred Bear glove seems to have very thin leather. I am using a Martin Hunter 60# and my fingers are killing me after 50 or so shots. Do you think that this is a better choice? The tab is still in shipping, should have it tomorrow.

If your fingers are killing you then 60# is probably too much bow weight for you,I shoot a 62# hatfield recurve with the super tab, this tab is very thin but very slick, only one layer thick, try the black widow tab it has three layers and is only $10...

For a heaver pound bow I would go with a thicker tab like the Black widow tab or Saunders Pak-tab.

      A:

Most tabs have a hole where you stick your middle finger in an then your fingers wrap around the outside of it.

I just measured the thickness of the 3 Under Large and it came to .059 inches. They all look to be the same thickness.

1/16 of an inch. Its about the thickest single piece of cordovan that I've seen.

      A:

Spacers are a personal preference. They are not a necessary part of a tab.

    • A:

The reason for a spacer is to keep the archer for not pinching the arrow nock. Great for people learning how to shoot, and for quick shot situations as you wont think about pinching the arrow nock and screwing up arrow flight. Not a requirement if you have your shot routine down, but can be a nice feature for some.
