I wouldn't recommend the quiver for hunting. The way it sits on the hip
would cause the arrows to hit objects around you causing unwanted noise.
The quiver is perfect for practice and target shooting which is what it was
purchased for. If you want a quiver for hunting that doesn't attach to
your bow go with a back quiver. Preferrably one with a side strap to keep
the quiver in place.
