  • Q:

can the level be removed to access the screw when adjusting from left to right hand?

      A:

To change this over to left hand you will just need to flip the pin guard over on the Elevation block making the level on the top of the sight. I would not recommend to remove the level due to it being glued to the pin guard.

I have a samick sage recurve, I'm not the best marksman, with a bow, so I want to add a sight. But I like the traditional look to my bow, will this sight kill that traditional effect?

  • Q:

I have a samick sage recurve, I not the best marksman, with a bow that is, and I want to have a sight on my bow. But I want my bow to be traditional looking, will this sight kill it's traditional look and make it look modern? This is more of a style question.

      A:

That is all personal preference. It would be the same thing if you were asking about a metal riser bow. Some would argue that it is too modern, while others would see it as purely traditional.

  • Q:

I have a Bear Tambeline recurve bow. Will this site fit on and where does is mount. There is a site on now,, but lost some of the parts.

      A:

The sight mounts to AMO sight bushings on the side of the riser. If the bow has a sight right now, it should mount to the same bushings.

  • Q:

Another newbie question: Is it easy to put on the bow? ( I have the Samick Polaris 54" Recurve Bow ) Will it work on my bow? Do I need tools?
Asked on 12/29/2011 by jake the n00b from New York

      A:

Yes, this sight will work on you bow. There are just two screws to mount it. The only tool you will need is an Alan wrench.

Total newbie question, (I am a newbie) but which one of the three do I aim with? Middle one?

      A:

Your top pin will be the fisrt one you set for 10 yards, the second one you will want to adjust to work out to around 15-20 yards and the bottom pin I like to set at 25-30 yards.

  • Q:

can this sight work on a recurve bow or is it for compound bows only?
Asked on 12/6/2011 by John from Spearfish, SD

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

All of the sights that we carry will work on any longbow, recurve or compound as long as the riser has been drilled and tapped to accept AMO accessory's like sights, bow fishing reels and quivers.
